Caramelized Onion Double Cheeseburgers

These Caramelized Onion Double Cheeseburgers are proper comfort food and surprisingly easy to make at home. Juicy smashed beef patties, melty cheese, and sweet, slow cooked red onions all piled into soft brioche buns, simple ingredients, big flavour. They’re perfect for a fakeaway night or when you’re craving a no nonsense burger that really hits the spot.

For the Caramelized Onions:

1.

Add the oil to a pan and add in the onions and simmer on a low heat for around 20 minutes, mixing frequently to ensure they don't catch, if they do start to then add a splash of water.

2 tbsp Oil

1 Red onion

For the burgers:

1.

Add the mince and seasoning and combine together then roll into equal balls.

500 g Mince beef

1 tsp Garlic

3.

Plate up your burgers with the brioche buns and caramelized onions and that's it! Enjoy.
