Sweet and Sour Chicken (No Pineapple)

This sweet and sour chicken is a simple, homemade version that skips the pineapple but keeps all the classic flavours everyone loves. It’s quick to make, packed with colourful veg, and coated in a glossy, tangy sauce that’s perfect over fluffy rice. A great midweek dinner that’s family friendly and much easier than a takeaway.

Absolutely delicious! Going to try with a little pineapple juice next time but this without it was still really really good! 😊

We usually forego anything “sweet and sour” for the reason my husband being allergic to pineapple also. This passes for the real thing with flying colours! 😚 👌

This was really tasty, but I think all sweet and sour should have pineapple 😉

We don't normally eat sweet and sour because my family doesn’t like cooked fruit, so this was perfect for us and went down well all round!
