Creamy Sausage and Chorizo Pasta

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Add a drizzle of oil to a pot and then remove the sausage meat from the skins and pop them in the pot, mash up into a mince and cook until browned.

Step 2

Add in the onion, pepper & mushrooms and cook until soft.

1 Brown onion

1/2 Red bell pepper

100 g Mushrooms

Step 3

Add In the chorizo and garlic, the seasonings and the tomato puree and combine.

75 g Chorizo slices

3 cloves Garlic

1 tsp Mixed herbs

1 tsp Smoked paprika

1 tbsp Tomato Puree

Step 4

Add the pasta to boiling salted water and cook to the packets instructions.

300 g Pasta

Step 5

Pour in the passata and stock and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.

200 ml Passata

300 ml Vegetable stock

Step 6

Add in the cream cheese and parmesan and allow to cook for a further 5 minutes.

3 tbsp Cream cheese

80 g Parmesan

Step 7

Mix in the gravy granules and then drain the cooked pasta and add to the sauce and combine.

3 tbsp Chicken gravy granules

Step 8

Serve with a sprinkling of leftover parmesan and that's it!

This was lovely, I’ll definitely make this again, I had to put green peppers in rather than mushrooms there’s only me that likes mushrooms, which is a shame haha. Thank you for sharing this recipe

Delicious!! I used mozzarella instead of Parmesan as it’s what I had in the fridge but it came out great! I will definitely make again and I’m sure it’s going to be one of my favouritesšŸ˜
